I bid a fond adieu to Le Petit Bateau and its new owner, Susan.
Settling in to my new environs, new light, new temps, no time schedules.
Found at FOUND the other day (my favorite place in Ann Arbor): DIY magazine from the 30s. The sailboat pattern caught my eye, but the step-by-step directions on how to build a little trailer got me!
Tomorrow I will go back and talk to Mary, the owner, about carrying some of my birds and maybe boats!
C. J. Shane has written another generous review of the show and my piece in it.

I was excited to get a commission to design and build a pirate ship earlier this spring. Great fun and the client (who I never met) loved it.
Lots going on this past winter/spring. January 19 opened an exhibit with weaver Ann Keuper at Petroglyphs on South Park in the Lost Barrio. It was a great success, I sold several pieces, and we had a well attended Artists’ Talk with mimosas and a chocolate fountain.

I am honored to have a piece in the upcoming Exhibit at Tohono Chul Park.
